Meet Peach and Shannon!
“A friend/colleague sent me a picture of little Miss Peach. Ironically, when I first got to work that day, I told her how I had a dream the night before of a little red dog. I nearly cried on the spot because Peach looks exactly like the dog I dreamed of. I had been sad because on June 11, 2018, my beloved familiar Ginger Bean had died. She was 15 and my best friend.
She was absolutely the dog I had a dream about the night before. Even with her ailments (she has to be on a special diet because she can get bladder stones), and though she humps my leg a lot, and she licks me daily, I'm growing used to it and I still love her immensely.⠀⠀In the first few days after taking her home, she peed all over the house and I seriously wondered if I had made the right decision. Then we got very accustomed to each other. I realized her peeing was a sign that she was just sad that I was leaving her for work. She just wanted to spend time with me. She also really loves my partner, her "Daddy," Christian.⠀⠀The best part of being a pet parent is the stops I get. She is beautiful and incredibly unique looking. She looks like a miniature golden retriever. We are not sure what breed she is and likely won't get a "23 and Me" for dogs, but we love saying that she is a Chiweenie. She has a long body and a Chihuahua-looking face. She is beautiful and so loving. We just love having her as part of the Bobo-Cordeaux family. She is so sweet. She just loves and only wants to be with her parents. She's so happy. She loves her food. She loves going to play. She loves all of her toys. She brings me so much joy.
I wasn't sure if I was ready for another dog after Ginger died. When Ginger my Yorkie died, she left me two Gingers: My boyfriend who is a Ginger and was born the year of the dog, and our new adopted daughter, Peach, who is a Ginger in color. She’s the little dog of my dreams. I love her so much.”
