Our work with Southern California dog rescues + organizations
All dogs are good dogs…some just need help being seen.
Studies show that dogs with professional portraits are up to 60% more likely to be adopted, and are often adopted faster. A bright, expressive photo helps people see their personality, not just their kennel number.
That’s where we come in.

Their stories deserve to be seen
The Rescue Story Collective partners with rescues, shelters, and dog missions to tell the stories of adoptable dogs and the people working to fix the pet crisis, starting with impactful photos that help dogs get adopted and open space for more to be saved.
Through photography, we give their stories a voice, raising awareness and inspiring others to take part in affecting change with us.

How to get involved
With your help, we can shine a light on the dogs and people changing lives, from rescues giving second chances to shelters making miracles happen every day. Sponsored photography sessions cover the time, travel, and editing required to make that possible, allowing me to spend more of my time helping dogs who need it most.
Brand sponsorships
If your brand wants to get involved with the collective, there are loads of ways to help!

$1,500
Single session
Fund one full-day shelter photography session (up to 8 dogs), including social media shout-outs, logo placement on images, and content you can share.
For an additional $250, I can edit the images in your brand colors so you have ready-to-share assets that align perfectly with your look.

Meet your pet photographer, Sarah
As an industry-trusted pet photographer based in Los Angeles, I’m known for capturing vibrant, expressive images that reflect your dog’s real personality, not some overly posed version of who they’re expected to be. The most timeless photographs are the ones that celebrate who they really are!
