For Pet Parents

Pet photography

It’s a dog’s world and we’re just living in it!

Your pet isn’t just part of your life. They are your life.

The laughter, the adventures, the chaos: all of it deserves to be remembered in a way that lasts.

I want you to have something you can hold. Something you can walk by and smile at every single day. Whether it’s a luxury album filled with memories from our adventure session or a framed portrait from your studio shoot, these pieces are made to bring your love story into your everyday life.

Your dog deserves more than a folder in your camera roll. They deserve a place of honor in your home, and art that feels every bit as special as they are!

The experience

My sessions are about celebrating your dog’s story, not just documenting it.

We’ll create images that feel alive, that show the way their tail wags when they see you, the tilt of their head, the softness in their eyes. And when it’s time to choose how to bring them home, you’ll see how those moments come to life.

The Process

The process to get started is simple! If you have any questions, contact me and I'll be happy to help.

Step One

Complete my inquiry form.

Let’s get to know each other! Tell me about your pet(s) and photo needs. If you have a specific vision in mind, let me know and I can create a bespoke session.

Step Two

Let the planning begin!

You’ll receive more detailed information about the process, and we can plan via email or a call. Whether at my studio in Silverlake, at your home, or somewhere in LA, we’ll pick the perfect location to help your pet’s personality shine.

Step Three

Be yourself and enjoy the time with your pet.

The photoshoot is meant to be fun! Don’t stress if they’re not on perfect behavior (see my FAQs for more information), and check out my blog for some info on sessions and planning.

Step Four

Pick your pics!

Within 3-4 weeks of your session, you’ll receive an album of selections to choose from. Now for the tough part: choosing your favorites! Once you're ready, I’ll retouch and deliver your wall art, albums, or digital images within 4-6 weeks.

Captured in their element

Studio Session

My studio feels like a cozy home, so dogs of every temperament can relax and just be themselves.

Each session flows at your dog’s pace, whether that means a quick pose or a goofy zoomie break. We’ll mix in lights, different colored backdrops, and fun props to bring out their personality.  If you want to go darker or more neutral, that's a great option too.

By the end, you’ll have vibrant artwork of your dog that makes your walls (and heart) happier. If you have a vision in mind for some cool art you want to create, even better! I'm down to get as creative as you want.

Outdoor Session

Outdoor sessions are all about adventure and capturing your dog in their element.

Whether it’s at your home, a favorite park, or another location that fits your vibe, we’ll choose a spot that matches your pet’s energy, attention, and reactivity levels. The session moves at their pace, keeping things fun and stress-free while we explore together.

You’ll walk away with stunning wall art or a full album that tells the story of the entire experience.

Legacy Session

Some sessions are about capturing your dog at their wildest. Others are about something quieter, honoring them exactly as they are while you still have this time together.

Before photography, I spent years as a veterinary technician. I understand what it means to love an animal through every chapter, including the last one. Whether in my studio or somewhere special to them, these sessions move entirely at their pace with no agenda other than preserving what matters most.

The photographs become something you'll reach for long after they're gone, and I would be honored to create them for you.

If urgent, these will be scheduled as soon as possible.

The investment

The time we get with them is never long enough. Let’s turn your love into lasting art!

Art that lasts

Digital files are convenient, but they can’t stop you in your tracks when you walk by.

That’s why every one of our pet photography sessions is designed to create something tangible.

Yes, you’ll still receive the digital files to share and keep, but the heart of this experience is in what you can touch: handcrafted albums, museum-quality wall art, and prints that turn fleeting moments into timeless keepsakes.

When the years go by, these are the pieces that will matter most. The ones you can hold in your hands and say, “That was us.”

"Every penny spent was worth it a hundred times over."

If you’re looking for a “dogtographer” in the LA area, I highly recommend Sarah! She is incredibly patient, easy to communicate with, and always quick to reply to emails. Most importantly, her passion for animals truly shines through—you can absolutely trust her to capture the best photos of your fur babies!

Meet your pet photographer, Sarah

As an industry-trusted pet photographer based in Los Angeles, I’m known for capturing vibrant, expressive images that reflect your dog’s real personality, not some overly posed version of who they’re expected to be. The most timeless photographs are the ones that celebrate who they really are!
