Senior & End-of-Life Dog Photography
The experience
A Legacy Session is about holding on to who your dog is, right now, while you still have this time together. I create images that feel alive: the way they lean into you, the gray around their muzzle, the softness in their eyes.
We move entirely at their pace, gently and without pressure, so the day feels calm for both of you. What you'll carry home isn't just photographs. It's the whole feeling of your love, kept somewhere you can return to whenever you need it.
For pets in their final chapter...
Some sessions are about capturing your dog at their wildest. Others are about something quieter, honoring them exactly as they are while you still have this time together.

Legacy Sessions are reserved for senior dogs, dogs navigating illness, and dogs in hospice or end-of-life care. If urgent, these will be scheduled as soon as possible.
The Legacy Session
$950
Sessions can take place in your home, in studio, or somewhere meaningful to you. Travel within the LA area is included, with a small travel fee for locations beyond. Additional prints, albums, and digital images are always available to add after your session.
Behind the scenes of a Legacy Session
Sophie & Katie
Katie called me when Sophie wasn't getting better. She had tried everything, but illness was taking over, and she wanted to hold onto the time they had left.
So we went to the beach across the street from Sophie's home, one of her favorite places in the world. Sophie was so tired that day. But somehow, for her mom, she found the energy for one last romp in the sand.
We captured all of it: her joy, her spirit, and the love between Sophie and Katie in their final chapter together.
Elji & Michelle
Elji was only seven when cancer took over. His mom called me in urgency, so we fit in a session the very next day.
He could no longer walk, but that didn't matter. We carried him to a few beautiful spots around a park in Pasadena and captured him exactly as he was: still handsome, still deeply loved.
In his final images, I gently touched up the places where his fur had been shaved, so his family could remember the pup they'd always known. Some sessions can't wait, and I'm so grateful I got to give Elji's family this one.
Sophie, Adam & Liz
Sophie's parents reached out because, at sixteen, she was beginning to slow down, and the time they had left with her was an unknown they didn't want to leave to chance.
So we spent a morning at one of her favorite places in the world: the beach. And Sophie showed us she still had plenty of life in her, breaking into her signature senior zoomies across the sand.
We captured all of it, the joy, the salt air, and the quiet, tender moments between Sophie and the family who loves her. This is exactly why these sessions matter. Not to say goodbye, but to celebrate a life while it's still being lived.

Complete my inquiry form.
Tell me a little about your dog and where you are in your journey together. There's no pressure and no wrong time to write. If time is short, say so, and I'll prioritize you.
Step Two
We'll make a plan
We'll connect by email or call to choose what feels right, whether that's your home where they're most comfortable, my Silverlake studio, or a place that means something to you both. Everything is shaped around your dog's needs.
Step Three
Your session, at their pace
There's nothing to prepare and nothing your dog needs to do. Whether they're up for a slow walk or happiest resting in your arms, we simply follow their lead and focus on the two of you.
Step Four
Your images and keepsakes
I'll have your gallery ready within three weeks, and you can look through it whenever you feel ready. Some people want to see the images right away; others need time. Either is okay, and I'll be here when you are.

That’s why every one of our pet photography sessions is designed to create something tangible.
Yes, you’ll still receive the digital files to share and keep, but the heart of this experience is in what you can touch: handcrafted albums, museum-quality wall art, and prints that turn fleeting moments into timeless keepsakes.
When the years go by, these are the pieces that will matter most. The ones you can hold in your hands and say, “That was us.”

I spent nearly a decade in veterinary care before photography, so I know how to keep a senior or unwell dog calm, safe, and comfortable throughout our time together.
