Dog Photo Events for LA Offices and Brands: Promo Activations, Holiday Portraits, and Headshots
More LA companies are bringing dogs into the building, and a dog photo event can do double duty. It's a giveback that gives your people something to keep, or a promo moment that draws a crowd and makes content. Sometimes both in one afternoon.
I'm a professional dog photographer based in LA, and on-site photo events for offices, brands, and communities are some of my favorite work. Here's how companies use them, and who they fit.

A giveback employees remember
Most perks get used up and forgotten. A portrait doesn't. A holiday photo with their dog lives on an employee's lock screen, their desk, and their holiday cards for years. It costs a fraction of most gifting budgets and lands more personally, because it's about the family member people care about most.
Dogs are also the fastest icebreaker in any office. People who never talk in the elevator end up on the floor swapping rescue stories.
Holiday portraits are a favorite, with a seasonal backdrop and props available!

A giveback for your clients
The same event works pointed outward. Use it to thank clients with something memorable, at your space, a rented venue, or a public park. It's a reason to show up, a gift they didn't expect, and a warm association that outlasts any discount code. Apartment and residential communities use it the same way for resident appreciation, and it fills the calendar fast.

A dog photo event as a promo activation
The same setup flips into promotion. Dogs stop people in their tracks, which is why they work for it. A backdrop and a photographer make a magnet for foot traffic and content people want to be part of.
A few ways brands use it:
Product launches. A new line lands better tied to something people love. Bentley invited their community of owners and influencers to Dog PPL to get a firsthand look at the new lineup, and everyone went home with portraits of their dog shot inside the car. The product, the dog, and a shareable image in one moment. The same idea scales to any launch.

Film, show, and streaming promo. A studio or streamer can promote a release with a themed backdrop and portraits people actually post. An Amazon title launch becomes a photo moment for employees and fans, which is the organic reach a promo is chasing.

Store openings and pop-ups. A dog photo booth turns an event into a destination. People line up, linger, and leave with branded content already on their phones.
The output isn't just a good time. It's a stack of on-brand images and user content for social, email, and press.

Who this works for
Dog-friendly offices are the core fit, and the model scales from a 30-person office to a full campus with staggered slots. It also fits businesses thanking clients, residential communities hosting resident events, brands running a launch, and venues and clubs adding a dog-friendly experience for members.

Add a digitech for live, on-site delivery
For bigger events, I can bring a digitech to work alongside me on-site. As I shoot, they edit in real time, add your logo or a branded frame, and upload finished images immediately. Guests can walk away with a polished, on-brand photo before they leave the room, and your marketing team has content ready to post the same day. It's the difference between "we'll send those over next week" and a shareable image in someone's hands on the spot.

Where I've set these up
I've run dog photo events for Live Nation and Blu Dot, shot a Bentley activation at Dog PPL, and done pop-ups for vet clinics, pet stores, and rescues around LA. My commercial clients include Bentley Motors and We Rate Dogs, so I can match a brand's look and keep things smooth on a corporate campus or a public activation.
