At Home with Argus: An End of Life Session in Los Angeles

Argus was a black shepherd with a big, gentle presence. He was sick, and his mom knew their time together was getting short. She wanted photos of him the way he really was: at home, in his spots, next to her.

So that's what we did. No car ride, no new places. Just Argus resting where he was comfortable, and his mom close by.

These sessions are quiet. We go slowly, take breaks whenever he needs one, and let the photos come from the moments that are already there.

What Is a Legacy Session?

A legacy session is for dogs who are seniors, sick or nearing the end of their lives. It's about capturing them as they are now, with the people who love them, while there's still time.

I spent nearly a decade as a veterinary technician, so I'm comfortable working around pain, medical needs and low energy.

Sessions can happen at home, at my Silverlake studio or somewhere that matters to you, and we plan them around your dog's good days. If time feels short, call or text me.

If you're facing the same goodbye, you can read more about legacy sessions and in-home pet photography in Los Angeles, or call or text me at 310-948-9726.
